About
Alan studied Medicine at The Royal London Hospital and worked for the NHS for over 30 years as a GP, GP Trainer and Course Organiser. Upon retirement he completed a Masters in Theology of Ministry and Mission at Bristol Baptist College. He enjoys a wide range of musical activities from leading a primary school singing group, to hosting his local open mic night, and leading worship in his local church.
Responsibilities
Alan works two-days a week, mainly from home, doing general administration for the Baptist-facing work of the college including the Centre for Baptist Studies. He is also the administrator for ‘The Learning Collective’, the college’s community learning programme for anyone who wants to deepen their understanding of faith and develop skills in ministry.
