The Regent’s community is now more diverse than ever before, and its radical spirit continues to be embodied in generations of students and staff pushing the boundaries of representation and inclusion.
The College offers places in a range of Arts and Humanities disciplines and also Human Sciences, as well as preparing men and women for ordained ministry in the Baptist Union of Great Britain.
Everyone admitted to read for a degree is matriculated into the University and has full access to its rich resources. The College has award-winning tutors, who are teaching members of multiple faculties and departments, encouraging students to aim high and providing excellent academic support. Through research, they also bear witness to the value of the Arts and Humanities in higher education and society by exploring the essence of a fully liveable life and a civilised world.
The Principal's Welcome
It is a great pleasure to introduce you to Regent's. We trace our origins back to the eighteenth century, and have been on our current site in the heart of this great University for nearly 100 years. Regent's admits for a range of undergraduate and postgraduate degrees, and also prepares students for ordination. As one of the smaller academic communities in Oxford, our size means we form a close-knit and informal community of staff and students, holding the best Oxford traditions while interpreting them in a distinctive way. It's easy to be involved here, and we greatly value the input of our students in every aspect of college life.
