Ashley joined Regent’s as College Librarian in 2023 after working for several years in a school library. Coming from secondary education, she is particularly passionate about ensuring that study spaces are comfortable and that resources are easy to access, so that students and readers can work at their best.
Ashley holds an MSc in Library and Information Studies and has a particular interest in library censorship studies, particularly in cross-cultural comparisons in school and public libraries.
Responsibilities
Ashley is responsible for the College Library (the main circulating library at Regent’s) and also oversees the David Nicholls Memorial Collection (DNMC). She is the main point of contact for students and visitors requiring access to books and materials held in the College Library or the DNMC, and is always happy to receive research-related enquiries and help readers track down hard-to-find resources.
